its very simple mate, but first of all, i would suggest you not to uninstall it.. i havent seen any issues with sp2 .. rather it fixes ltosa bugs like sasser, blaster etc etc.. but still if you are in need then .. read these steps..

1.Click Start, click Run, type c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe in the Open box, and then click OK.
2.When the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Removal Wizard starts, click Next.
3.Follow the instructions on the screen to remove Windows XP SP2.

I'm not sure that a system recovery to an earlier time (before installing SP2) would solve the problem. But a fresh install of Windows SP1 would.

Tsk tsk tsk bad move, I always just get the security updates. But if you did not archive the files then you really cant uninstall service pack 2 unless you find the file on the add/remove. Hmm insteresting. But good luck

Windows XP does not allow SP2 to be removed. You'd have to format and reinstall Windows.

It is suggested to not remove SP2, great security risk.

If you feel your PC has slowed, clear programs and files you no longer use, run disk clean up, run defrag.
