It's about fear and their church gives them a sense of belonging and security but like any tribe or group it has its rules which they abide by in order to fit in and for protection.Alot of Christian churches are not simply about worshipping Christ and living pure and good for the afterlife but to give people an easy way. They're tightly knit social groups they conform to,not spirituality. So man's doctrines are a good as god's doctrines they add up the same when someone simply wants protection.

The attitudes you read here is not an accurate representation of a true Christian. Here on Y/A the anonymity gives opportunity for hateful people to do what their churches would frown on.
There are good Christians her, they are just overpowered by the obnoxious and loud hateful ones that claim to be experts. They are expert only in self deceit.

Not every one who goes to church is a Christian.
How can you tell who is a Christian and who's not?
By their actions and what comes out of their mouth.
Christians TRY to be like Jesus in their actions, even though we fail miserably sometimes. Also how they talk during the week, should be the same as when they were speaking with the Pastor on sunday.

I am a Chritian I do go to churchI do not pretend to know everything and I accept that sincere differences can occur. We are all human and strive to serve Christ. The so called man made doctrines are there only to help. it does not mean that they can be thrown away lightly

Few know the true definition of the designation Christian... and Fewer Know that only One may confer that title upon an individual... God Himself.
Also..Fear of what is unknown. And holding on to too much ego and pride. Which causes them to reject The Way God prescribes... The Only Way to come to Him.
And...it is always easier to let some one else take the lead and to submit to the easy way which is man's way... rather than humble one's self and submit to The Way.

I walk in the light. I view denominations as the source of infiltrating traditions of men in religion today. For this reason I am non denominational Christian as described in the Bible.
Not a fundamentalist, but I study the original translations and their idioms, colloquialisms, and other figures of speech of the time to glean the real meaning behind the English translations I read.

What that guy said ! :P
There are some good Christians. Honest, hard working people. But, people who grew up in random Christian schools, say they are Christian, but only do church on Sunday are the ones who give Christians a tainted name.

they call themselves christians for the need to belong; also no other religion has answered their needs, they could possibly be on a journey where religion is no longer needed to be one with god. Spiritual darkness? who says so.

You would first have to clarify what you consider to be "church doctrines of men."
