Right now you should worry about learning to speak and read, rather then pick up some obscure meaningless thing to pick at.
What is Judish? If he was Jewish? No doubt about that. Did not eat pig? How do you know? You know that Israelis people do not eat pig? They did the last time I was there. Most are not Jewish. Israel is non-sectarian. There are Jews there but the are no predominant. You Christians? Now, what are you Pumpkin? Or are you even old enough to be anything? Try again, when you have matured or become educated.

It's very easy. Jesus never imposed a rule where he said to his followers that they couldn't eat pork and drink alcohol. And we follow Jesus, we haven´t to obey the rules of the Judaism. They are different religions.

Jesus taught us that He fulfilled the Law and took it out of the way. He also ate with publicans and sinners.
Acts 10:9
"On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."

You might want to read about this in the book of Acts.
The law, with it's restrictions, was fulfilled by Christ. All of those regulations are no longer necessary - because the law, and it's requirements, were fulfilled by Christ. The law was never meant to be an end in itself.
I personally think it would be a grand idea not to eat pork. It's not good for you.

I am Jewish. These laws were never for non-Jews, ever.
Christians say that Jesus "freed them" from those laws in the Jewish Torah (old testament).
This is a lie. They are not Jews, so these laws were not theirs, ever.
They cannot have been freed from these laws because they weren't ever bound by them in the first place.
Totally useless to say that Jesus freed them from these laws, it is not true.
The ONLY laws that ever were for non-Jews in the Jewish Torah (old testament) are the 7 Noahide Laws. No others for non-Jews, ever. Not then, not now.
The 7 Noahide Laws are found in the Torah (not the Talmud as some ignorant Christians claim). 5 of them come out of the Ten Commandments. The other 2 are found elsewhere in the Torah itself.
1. Do not murder
2. Do not steal
3. Do not blaspheme God
4. Do not commit Idolatry (which Christians do by making a man into God and then putting him in front of God to have to go through to get to God)
5. Do not commit adultery
6. Do not tear a limb from a live animal to eat. (apparently this was done)
7. Do establish courts of law to have a fair and just society for everyone.
Jesus did not free non-Jews from these laws; non-Jews must still follow them. It is a lie to say that Jesus freed non-Jews from these laws.
P.S. It's not true that Israelis (or Jews everywhere) do not drink alcohol. We drink wine every Friday, for one thing, on Shabbat. Alcohol is not forbidden to us. It is Muslims who do not drink alcohol, not Jews.

Jesus did not die on the cross so that I could eat pig.
He came to fulfil the Spiritual law not the Natural Law. Natural Law still to this day shows us that pork is bad for our bodies.
People will use the example of the vision with all the animals and God saying "what I have made clean thou shalt not call common."
But they leave out the fact that he did NOT eat the animals..and it was soley in reference to him entering the house of a Gentile which was considered unclean.
God told us not to eat certain things not to keep anything good from us, but to make our bodies healthier and better able to serve Him!

Because as Jesus said:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew Chapter 15
For those mis-informed, Jesus did not come to do away with Gods Law. Though possibly some previous traditions passed away.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew Chapter 5
Jesus said that only two commands are needed to govern our lives: love of God and love of neighbor. If such love is demonstrated, all the law and prophets are fulfilled.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John Chapter 1
When he sends the Holy Spirit to comfort you, that same Spirit guides you in the Truth of Gods Law.. and you desire to follow.

When the ancient christians saw jewish people being persecuted they made a concious choice to serepate themselves from the jews. One of the ways was to turn their back on judeo food laws.
It was just to protect their new religion.
