I feel that my church is not spiritual enough, I feel that it is lacking in Praise. It has become so redundant. I am seeking out another church, although I feel obligated to my home church.

Being an atheist I don't have a church. But when I was a boy in England, the church I was taken to was lacking a proper roof and windows, thanks to the action of the luftwaffe.

I don't feel that my church is lacking in spirituality. We are a very lively church with great emphasis on praise and worship. I believe we are getting it right but we still have a long way to go. It is our goal to continually grow closer to God.

Even though I have had issues with my home Church before and have felt it lacks in some ways now and then I realize that for the most part I am very blessed by it and by the congregation. Ever since Bible times people have had issues with their Churches/Religious gatherings but the Bible also says not to complain about your Church (something I am sooo guilty of) because it turns other people off from the idea all together.

That said, pray about where God wants you to be. You may be unsatisfied because God wants you to be somewhere else!

There's always some way every church could step it up a bit. The Body of Christ is made up of a bunch of imperfect people seeking perfection through their faith in Christ. When we come to church everything comes with us, talents and imperfections alike. Rom. ch 15:1 tells the strong to bare the infirmities of the weak. By doing this we are doing are part to make the church all it can be in Christ. BTW the guy above me speaks from his own understanding and not the wisdom that comes from God. Search the scriptures and test his doctrine to see if it is of God.

if you like praise song so much then go find a church where you are comfortable with. but, i'll tell you, once you start changing church then you'll become a church hopper always finding fault with any church you attend.

why not try to affect change, suggest, lead, perhaps you'll still find what you're looking for in your present church.

there is no perfect church.

I have felt that, and did change churches. But I will never find the perfect church, as I am in it.

I have left various churches which teach the traditions of men and have little to say from the Bible and more to say about fund raising and social events.

The Catholic church is lacking in finding a better way to punish the priests who molest!

my church is spiritual in nature. The Body of Christ. I physically worship at several churches. But my spirit belongs to God.

All the time. Concrete religion is man made, but the river and nature are my best spiritual resources.Jesus taught being us to honest and true to ourselves. The churches teach "be true to our belief." While your leaving may make some members shake their heads, it's your own truth you are after. Go for it.
