God has His purpose and will for the lives of human beings and human beings have a will as well. God has said in His word that He will not intrude upon the will of man but He has given man a manual on how to live a good life doing godly things (the bible). The problem is that many people have decided that God doesn't know what He's talking about and there are things in this world that feel so good or matter more than the truth and love that God has to offer. The only problem with that is the things of this world are temporary. Look around you. Everything you see will be in the garbage, eroded, or simply non existent 50 to 100 years from now including your body. But where will your soul be and what will happen to it? Is anyone even concerned? I think for many it doesn't matter the condition or destiny of their eternal state, which is why they build so much upon this temporary existence and that will prove to be an unchangeable terrible mistake in the end.

I got news for you, hun. God has already abandon our country because he was never here to begin with. That's some of the worst BS I have heard on here in a while. Yes, Stalin and Hitler were atheists but that doesn't mean that all atheists are going to grow up and become crazy dictators. 'Immorality' is a term that has many definitions as to what exactly it is and what causes it. Telling children fairy tales is immoral to me. What gets me pissed off is the idea that you think you are so much better than other people. You aren't anything more or less than me, flesh and bones so get over yourself. If God exists and was going to get pissed off at America I think he would have done it by now. If God was smiling when we freed the slaves then why does he blatantly ok slavery in the Bible on multiple occasions? So either the Bible is lying about God liking slaves or you are. I personally think your both full of crap. God was smiling down when we gave the Native Americans the crappy and unwanted lands of our country and kept the good stuff to ourselves? Ha. I doubt the natives see it that way. And there is nothing wrong with being gay! You can think that crap all day long but what you're doing is suppressing the rights of a whole group of people who are some of the nicest and most caring people out there. I have confidence that just like with the past black struggles we will be able to pull out of this hatred and darkness and stop suppressing peoples rights in EVERY state. Yes, you republican idiot, that includes Texas.

I'm leaving the USA soon.....................>
because it SUCKS here!!!

and all I can do, is direct the people in the USA to accomplish this, soon:

Here's the simply Solution for the USA and religion:

Eliminate religion from Your Life, A.S.A.P.;

Freedom of religion is Freedom FROM religion; religion is Spiritual fraud;

Universal Truth eliminated religion from Spirituality a long time ago;

Accomplish this:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.

<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

God only allows a certain measure of evil from nations and then he crushes them. I believe we started out a nation zealous for him but have basically become babylon. We are a nation great by worldly standards and not Gods.

Considering the whole free will thing, and assuming there is a God, why would he stop us from destroying ourselves?

It is up to us to fix it, seeing as we are the ones breaking it. He is supposed to be the creator of the universe, not a 'fix it' man.

My guess is that, when people stop relying on religion to justify away all of their mistakes (or indisgressions) and begin to take responsibility for their own actions, we will be on the way.

People like to place blame on others for acting immorally, etc. and use that to explain why bad things happen to them. We all need to stop placing blame for things that happen on other people. If we concentrate on doing what is right, excepting blame when we are at fault, doing what is right, and take action for the things we can effect (did I mention doing what is right?) If you are actively involved in your life, the things that "happen" to you are of your own will.

Too many of us let life happen to us.

Probably up to the moment Christ's foot strikes the Mount of Olives and splits it in two.

Yeah, world's only superpower, largest economy in the world, center of technological progress, haven for downtrodden (and wealthy) immigrants... this place is going to hell in a handbasket.
