At 20 years old you would reasonably expect him to have more autonomy than he's demonstrating right now. Find yourself another escort to walk down the ramp and have a nice time. That's one he'll just have to either understand or step up to the plate and escort you himself. Maybe this issue will help him see the true value of what he has with you and take proactive steps to preserve it.

You need to seriously consider why you're with a 20 year old guy who is still controlled by his mother.
Personally I'd tell him that when he "leaves Mom" to give you a call, until then, you should plan to walk down the ramp with whomever you want.

Take a girlfriend, there is nothing wrong with that, woman do it all the time.
The part I don't understand is why your bf who is 20 is letting his mom dictate things. Did he do something to require her consent, is he under house arrest?
If not, he needs to stand up and be a man. Sorry that that's not normal at 20.

I don't think it's fair that your boyfriend is setting limits and boundaries that way. You are young and should be free to do what you want. I would ask another guy to take you and if you're boyfriend protests, then tell him you're willing to go with him if he can commit to it. If not, then have fun at the dance!
