my car was impounded three days ago, due to upaid parking tickets. i owe a total of $1400 bucks + impound release fees. i can't afford to get the car out anytime soon. i'm still making payment on the car to the bank. can the car most likely be reposess if i don't come with the money? what should i do?

Eventually the city will seize it. The bank doesn't care, as long as you are making your payments. If the city does seize it you'll still owe the bank - it's not THEIR fault that you had the tickets.

$1400 for towing and three days impound? Geez, that's a lot! You must have a ton of unpaid parking tickets!

Pay the fees dude. because this can bite you later in your life if not taken care of. And your car payment should be made to.
You screwed up , now you have to man up to the situation and take care of it because this monster will just keep growing and growing and growing and growing, and it will get to the point where you will be thinking about it all day.
Stop wsting time on yahoo answers or online and take care of this situation!!!!!!

Find a way to pay the fees because there are daily charges continuing to add up. Yes it can be repossessed but the fees will be tacked on and you will pay them anyway.

If you are making your car payments on time, the bank doesn't care if you drive the damn thing into a lake. Dont stop making payments, though, they will take the car.
