The body produces more growth hormone while sleeping
Caffeine keeps you awake, hence less growth hormone.

That's one theory. I'm not sure it has been tested with any validity. I would think growth depends more on genetics and good nutrition than on caffeine.

ok here we go, this what happens, when you are very young, the calciuum that you ingest, you body stores for later use, as an adult. heres where caffeien comes in, doctors have foud that caffeine use absorbs the calcium that your body has stored, it does NOT stunt growth, however to much caffeine, shrinks your bones and leads to ostioperosis. ever heard older people say they have loss inches in their heght, this is the reason why.
