No King But King Jesus!

Declarations and Evidences of Christian Faith in America’s Colonial Charters, State Constitutions, and Other Historical Documents over 375 Years of American History: 1606 to 1982

Steve Lefemine

Let any man that will, who foolishly claims that America’s historical record is not replete with evidence that the constituting of civil government in America was founded principally upon the Rock of Jesus Christ, take the time to read the excerpts below, and thereby become convinced of the errancy of his former historically unsustainable prejudice.

It has oft been said, almost at times like some vacuous incantation, “Politics is the art of compromise.” Perhaps so for the worldly pursuit of “Politics.” However, “Christian statesmanship” on the other hand, is the God-ordained ministry and holy undertaking, of establishing justice in the gate.”

“Justice and judgment are the habitation [foundation] of Thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before Thy face.” Psalm 89:14

“… there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained [commissioned] of God.”
“For he [the civil ruler] is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil,
be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” Romans 13:1,4 [God’s intention for proper role of government]

“… governors,… sent by Him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that
do well.” 1 Peter 2:14 [God’s intended purpose for properly functioning civil government]

“… righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne.” Psalm 97:2

“The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.” 2 Samuel 23:2 [true for all men, for all nations, for all time]

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverb 14:34

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD [Yahweh];…” Psalm 33:12

in the book of Revelation..which also said..BLESSED IS ONE WHO READ IT...so go read it.
JESUS is the KING of kings(us/christians/saints) and LORD of lords(us/again).
eph 4:11 said about 5 spiritual levels..apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers..the first is the highest rank in spiritual government of GOD's kingdom.
if you read the new testaments(the work of GOD..we're living in) you'll see, in luke, mark and matt..speak about a parable/story of wisdom..about the 5 and 2 and one talent/minas..that the master gave. those who recieve it..INVESTED time, into the gifts..and DOUBLE..but the one who recieve ONE..did not invest..but fear and hide it.
NOW the reward was..of the 5 and 2..who made double..the master sayd..YOU WILL RULE MANY CITIES...so..a king or lord
rule a city..right?
this teaching is NOT being taught at all..due to lack of HOLY SPIRIT..in the pastors/teachers
the kingdom of GOD..is not just WORDS..but POWER..1cor.4:20.
acts.1:8, matt.10:1, Luke 9:1 all said..you will recieve POWER. this is why..today OLD TRADITIONAL CHURCHES don't have healing, or demonic deliverance, or prophets and apostles..which are CHOSEN and PROVEN..by GOD..not man's schooling. again..that why JESUS is KING of kings..LORD of lords..we are the students learning to be one..yet not all are called for such a positions..just the chosen..not my will..but HIS WILL.

Don't know that phrase.
Know this one: “We have no king but Caesar.”
John 19:15
It was said when Pilate asked the Jews if they recognize Jesus as their king.
Those Jews replied:"We have no king but Caesar."

American Puritans. They think they own the title on America and the rest of us are here by sufferance, but they're wrong. They may have landed on Plymouth Rock, but the Founding Fathers stole it away form them and gave us a secular government. Halleluyah!

It sounds like words to a gospel song or a paraphrase of something written in the bible.
