Almost everybody makes a very accurate varminter these days. If you're looking for best accuracy, it'll come after you take it home, not before. Tweaking your rifle and your handloads is half the fun of the accuracy game. I like Remingtons both for out-of-the-box accuracy and potential for after you work on them, but that's just personal opinion.

Usually your basic .22 is best. If you need more power, go with a .223. Just punch Winchester or Remington into the search engine.

Have a custom made one. This will be more accurate than a store bought one. Then you see what cartridge "settings" work best with this rifle. In other words load your own.Obviously not cheap.
