It sounds like most likely stress. Have you had any major life changes lately? Anything bothering you? Diahrrea is not something to play with. If your stool ends up in pieces for too long (more than 24 hours), first off, make sure you are WELL hydrated. Lots of fluids. Secondly, relax. Pay attention to your body. Write things down that you notice.

Thirdly, if you are still passing watery, runny or "piece-like" stools after 24 hours, I would take 1 Immodium AD (you can get it over the counter at the drug store; it's an anti-gas/indigestion pill specifically for gastrointestinal symptoms of a LOT of natures) and get an appointment with a doc ASAP. Too many watery bowel movements will take a toll on you, inside AND out.

This doesn't sound like heartburn...it is a literal burning feeling, like acidy or something. You don't sound like you have acid reflux or anything like heartburn. Rolaids won't hurt you though, if you want to take a couple. But I would Drink a big glass of milk and eat a few crackers, maybe there is something small stuck in your esophagus. See a doctor if it doesnt get better. I am sure you are fine...good luck!
