I got my bridesmaids gift certificates to spa's. I figured that I had stressed them out at times, that I need to give them a day of R & R. My one and only set back was that one of my bridesmaids lived in Colorado, so I hopped on the web and found Spafinder.com and got a certificate for a local spa in her Home town. I hope this helps.

When my best friend got married last year, she gave us small beaded evening bags that matched our dresses. They came in handy later at the reception, just big enough to hold a small camera, lipstick, tissues, and some cash for the bar. It's a gift that can be reused every time they go out, and will remind them of your special day.

I imagine like most brides you are on a budget? From your posting I gather the bridesmaids are pretty comfortably off if they have sufficent jewellery. At times like this I would say ....... ASK THEM! Tell them you want to give them something they would really like. However, give them a few examples of your thoughts as then they will have an idea of how much you can afford to spend. Better giving them something they will enjoy and appreciate. They may want something like restaurant vouchers or a perfume they like but you know it is what they want. Be straight with them, tell them you are willing to choose something for them but you are afraid it would not suit and you REALLY want them to have something they will like. If that fails and they still will not tell you then.....tough on them. Just give something you THINK they would like.

A bible in white leather with gold trim and Pearl rosaries. the point of a gift is not only to thank them, but a keep sake of the responsibility you have in trusted in them on the most important day of your life. Write an inscription on the inside the bible telling them this.

you can get them gift certificates for their fave store or resturant. or a g/c for a salon to pamper them selves.
for the 25yo you can get her a nice bottle of wine if she's a drinker. or whatever her drink of choice is...
for both maybe get up with an avon or mary kay or arbonne rep and get her a bunch of goodie basket
get bath n body stuff for them and make a basket or buy a ready made one
order them flowers to be sent to their work or home
see if in the phone book you have anyone listed for specialty gift baskets... maybe you can order them a themed basket

We got our bridemaids keepsakes that had the date of the wedding and thier part in it but they were all under 12.
Jewellry is the traditional gift but if you are unsure go to the following site, they have loads of ideas in the "shop" department for ideas for gifts for attendants.
Good luck and congrats on the wedding
Site is: www.confetti.co.uk
They helped with mine!!

Jewellery is the normal gift. What about getting a champagne glass engraved for each of them? You can get them with 'Bridesmaid' on them, and you can engrave the other side.
