If your assignment is to quote ten things said by God, you MIGHT want to pick up a Bible. Early in Genesis, God says "Let there be light" and I bet you could find nine more in short order.
If that's too much trouble, just flip over to the Ten Commandments, and take each one as a quotation from God.

2)“What we are is God's gift to us. What we become is our gift to God.”
3)“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.”
4)“Though our feelings come and go, God’s love for us does not.”
5)“I am convinced that He (God) does not play dice.”
6)“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world”
7)“God, who foresaw your tribulation, has specially armed you to go through it, not without pain but without stain”
8)“God, to me, it seems, is a verb, not a noun, proper or improper.”

16)God is not a cosmic bellboy for whom we can press a button to get things done.(my personal favourite)
17)The feeling remains that God is on the journey, too
18)But I always think that the best way to know God is to love many things.

I was gonna start quoting the Ten Commandments, but Open4one, has already suggested that. Open is right about one thing, crack the Bible and it is full of quotes from the Almighty.

6] Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; they blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered; for I the LORD have spoken it;
7] Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain ; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain;
8] Thou shalt have no other gods before me;
