If a plane was going down I probably wouldn't have time to call anyone as you are supposed to assume the crash position not chat on the phone. If I had time it would be my husband.
For a person who knows me, respects me, loves me I don't mind if they pray for me. It's the strangers who don't know one iota about me that it irks me when they smugly say they will pray for me. In that instance they do it more for themselves.

Theoretically speaking, of course, cause there's no way I'm gonna be on that plane, I think I'd be so scared I wouldn't be able to form coherent sentences! And yes, if someone wanted to pray for all of us, I'd have no problem with it. As to what someone else wrote about them having to know me personally to pray for me, that's crazy. As Christians we are told to pray for everyone...God knows everyone on a 1st name basis, He doesn't need me to introduce them. I am comforted by the knowledge that there have been times in my life that many were interceding in my behalf.

My husband. I wouldn't want to talk to anyone else before I die.
How long is going to take that plane to fall that I'll have time to call my husband AND talk to a Christian? No, they can pray with someone else. I will spend my last moment talking with someone I love.

1. I would call my husband, if he wasn't with me. If he was, I would call my mom.
2. I would allow a fellow Christian to pray for me, in fact, I would probably pray with them.

I would call out to my husband (if he wasn't there with me) and I could care less if anyone prayed for me in that situation. The end result will be the same.

This is what exactly I would do. I will say a prayer and tell God that I am happy to join Him. I won't call anybody.
