My relationship with all my immediate family is on a love - hate basis. Lets face it we can chose our friends, but not our family, and no matter what happens, family is family. You only get one mum and dad...... just remember that when things are heated.

well i suppose...i kinda love to hate them!!! I'm 14 and i don't get along with my mum very well...but then thats just part of being a teenager right? the point is how ever much i may tell her i hate her the fact that she is the person i have known all my life and the person that i can turn to in my life for most problems accounts for something more than love?! However, i seem to think of my dad as a best mate...because he i can talk to him about everything and he nver acts like a 'parent' when 'dealing' with me if i don't do what i'm told ;) he deals with it like a friend and that is why i respect and love him...and i do what he tells me to!!!! : D...but no-one can really hate their parents-even if they don't know it...unless they have done something incredibly inhumane....eg.killing someone!!.........................................

I love them. Although, we have had this arguments, I still respect and love my parents. They know what's best for me. I just realized that once I become a parent myself, I'll do the same thing for my future daughter or son, so they would understand and love me the way I showed love to my parents.

parents might seem bad but we are always there for you. We went down the same road as you with our parents. You hate us, we hated ours. Do this, do that, what time is this to come home at. your grounded. I said I would never treat my children the way I was cheated. Guess Wot........ I do. I hate it so do they. My daughter said to me that she was glad the way I brought her up although she wasnt always happy about the NOT DOING THIS AND THAT STUFF and BEING HOME AT CERTAIN TIMES but said it made her see what parents have to cope with, only when she got older may I add. I had to suffer the TEENS. (mega nitemare.)

I love my parents. My dad is still living but my mother passed away a year ago at the age of 60 after battling cancer. I miss her so very much.

I love my mother but hate my father. My mom is the sole breadwinner of the family while my father stays at home to do house chores. What I don't like about my father is that he dicourages me to futher my studies..keeps on nagging non- stop. He undoubtedly gives me lots of pressure.. sometimes, I even feel so depressed that I just want to die. His hurtful words really made me feel emotionally hurt inside. Next, he is very violent to us, his children but only sometimes to my mom.. I wonder why my mom don't get a divorce.:( I wonder if anybody had a father like this???

Unfortunately both my parents have died but I still love them as much as I ever did. Even though parents may get on our nerves sometimes and we may disagree with what they say, they have only our best interests at heart.
