Personally, I say no. But it depends on how they get along with eachother. Look at Mr Hefner, mr playboy himself, he about 100yrs old and he has nothing but 20 year olds around him, more than one at that. If you get along and enjoy eachothers company and everyone is happy, hey, who's to say otherwise. One set of my grandparents are 16 yrs apart. Do what makes you happy.

Not at that age, no. It might be a problem if for instance the girl is 14 and the guy 22. My husband and I differ by 8 years and we're very happy. There are many other things to consider beside age when things get serious, like do you share the same values and want the same things? You have to agree on wanting kids or not and your attitude to money. Cultural and religious differences also make a lasting relationship more complicated. However, if you're mature and determined you can make it work!

It's less of an issue than it would be if the girl was 16 and the guy was 24.
At 20 & 28, the only real issue is that she may not be able to go everywhere he does - like clubs, or to Vegas, because she's underage. As long as that's not an issue, then it's not a big deal.

yeah, 8 years, even 10 years is NOTHING!!! Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise! It would only be a big deal if one person was 15 and the other 25. 20 and 28 is no big deal, period!

Why would a mature man want an immature woman? He wouldn't. So he is a very immature man afraid to go out with someone his own age. Its just the ego of showing off a younger girl.

No, eight years is not much of an age difference. Actually, a twenty year old lady may be equal to a twenty-eight year old man, mentally. And it may work out, if both are mature and willing to be in a committed relationship.
