Say, "yes, I'll attend your mate's wedding, obviously my new boyfriend will be coming too"

Ok so I was going to say he's having a laugh BUT I'm in a similar situation with my ex bf and we're not young uns and he's not having a laugh.

I sometimes think men/boys get caught up in things then say something that they regret and rather than say "Look I made a mistake and I still want all that any chance?" They just carry on as normal.

This is up to you as to if you do what he's asking but to be honest I'd have a chat with him and find out what's going on, just ask if he's dumped you are you the easy option so he's not on his own or does he really want to be there with you as a couple but doesn't know how to tell you.

Good luck.

I'd have to say that I need some space to regain self. You know, reacquaint my self with all of the great things about myself, so that I could get a better man next time. Oh, and I'd also tell him to sod off. I am available as a date/escort if thew wedding/prom is on the east coast USA.

Well, it all depends.

If he just asked you without first explaining to you why in the first place he had dumped you, then that would show no consideration for your feelings, on his part. And I believe in this case, it would be improper for you to just jump on board and accept the invitation. He would thereafter think he can always do such things to you and go away with it.

But if he calls you to apologize first for having dumped you, convincingly, then it would be okay if he asked you out. In any case, this would be time for you to rejuvinate your friendship, especially since you will have forgiven him for his part in hurting your feelings.

But key in this case is to first talk about the past experience and reasons for the dumping before things like time out can be planned.

Otherwise, you know what is best for you. Good luck.

What......??????????????? He dumps u, and then asks u 2 b his date for his mates wedding!!!!!!!!!
Girl, tell him 2 get the hell out of ur life.
Coz this shows that he is a jerk, that he dsnt respect u or ur feelings.
I would definitely advise u not 2 continue any communication with him until he learns 2 respect his close one's feelings (which,if u ask me,is not that likely)

WHAT?! a guy dumps me, then asks me to be his date so he won't look bad for his friend's wedding and the prom?
and what do you mean by "still come round"?
What a horrible guy!
Tell him no way, you have too much respect for yourself to do such a thing.

Depends on how you feel. Honestly if it was a breakup that the feeling was mutual and you wanted to be friends then yeah its cool, but if you don't feel that you guys are still good friends then no. Don't do just because you feel that you should or anything if you have any doubt in going with him then you probably shouldn't. Let him no that you are not going to be there whenever he needs you remind him that he did break up with you. Also if he wants you to come with him as his date maybe he should think about that. He is probably still all mixed up and really doesn't know what he wants himself.

As much as you may wanna say yes, you would only be kidding yourself. The best thing is just to try and walk away. I was in a similar situation, and it is very tempting to say yes, but you will only end up hurting yourself even more if you do. Just leave him too it. Sounds like he is a bit of a user.

That's a tricky one. In my head, I'd tell him to shove the wedding and the prom and the comig around up his ***, but in reality, I don't know how I would react.
