yes he is a total control freak i wish we still had bill france or bill france jr brian is doing his best to ruin this sport the first and worst idea he had when he took over was the chase i think we need to go back to the original points race if he wants to improve that award more points for winning and give points for winning pole. and ditch mike helton for someone who isnt a yes man set up an overview board to study new rules he wants to add and make a clear cut rule book with the penalties layed out before the season get rid of the rule that says "actions detrimental to nascar" except for off track incidents such as getting in trouble with the law
time for nascar owners and sponsors to sit down with brian france and mike helton and demand some changes

He's not acting. It's unfortunate that King Brian isn't more like his father. Ever since Brian took control, Nascar has been on a downward spiral. He could care less about the fans. He's motivated solely by power and revenue.

Simply put...Yes.
Does anyone really think that given their commitment to their teams, crew chiefs are just going to sit back, take their vacations and ignore their teams? That wouldn't say much for them as team players either.
There is a point where Brian France needs to just shut up and weigh what his rants are doing to this sport as opposed to continually trying to show his
"power" and remove all doubt as to who is in charge of it's destruction.
If NASCAR were a military unit with Brian France as acting comander, he would probably be removed for the demoralization and poor morale that is currently pervading the fanbase and driver teams. In other words, he just isn't accomplishing the mission.

What makes NASCAR great is it takes those who violates the rules and lays the hammer down....and there aren't endless appeals and the violators ultimately having the penalties reduced or eliminated.
If true, they should be suspended for the rest of the year and 100 points taken away from each driver.

He has a point, though. What's the use in a suspension if you're still at the track, giving orders and advice, and crewchiefing from your perch??
While, though, he should've been smart enough to know this was happening before it was broadcast nationwide. He's probably more mad that it was made a headline...thinking most of us didn't know about it.

It sure seems like he is crying all of the time. He sure isn't like his Dad or Grandfather. He is trying to control everything so much that he is choking the life out of Nascar !

yea but if you are supposed to be suspended and you are there and more than likely helping out, then what good did the penalty do? I think they have to think of another way
