I don't want a show dog I want a working dog and I just noticed that there are so many rules to showing your dogs are they similar for working competitions. I don't want to breed and even if I did I would want to wait until I already had lots of experience in with competition dogs and was in a financial postion that would be way down the line. So there would be no reason for me not to have my dog spayed or neutered.

Yep. Their software is stated as canines companions (it rather is on the very suitable of their website) and it helps blended breeds or unrecognized purebreds to compete in agility, obedience, and rally. No very own adventure from me, regrettably. i've got seen canines of all breeds compete in obedience. while it is composed of purebred canines, i think of that they are in a position to be spayed or neutered and nonetheless compete, yet i'm not completely advantageous. nonetheless, i won't be in a position to work out why not.

Yes, you can, depending where you're at and what registry is used. If you're in the states, you can get what is called an ILP number from AKC for your dog. With this number, you can compete in the different 'working' events.

Good luck with your pup. I've always enjoyed participating in the working venues with my dogs.

Just a minor correction to Kerrie's reply: If your dog is already registered, you don't need an ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege) designation for your dog. The ILP is only for pure bred dogs that don't have their registration papers.
