It's extremely annoying that you can't find most bus fares online. Does anyone know of a hidden website somewhere that can do this?

What I generally do is visit Traveline, find out the routes and the bus companies, then I have to try to ring the bus company (which costs money) and ask them about the fares of a particular route. Often they either can't help or take a while to find the answer, or are not sure.

The only reliable way is to ask the bus driver, but that defeats the purpose if you're trying to plan a trip!

Any help?

Follow the regional links. Select your route and on most links you can also see the fares.

Each individual route has different fares.

Based on the following:-
Single or return
Child, Adult or Pensioner
Time of day
Weekday, Weekend or Bank Holiday

The cards issued to Pensioners are valid at different times of the day and according to the County. Where I am (Bristol area) Pensioners Travelcards are ONLY valid between 9am and 5pm on Weekdays, all DAY Weekends and Bank Holidays. And they are ONLY valid in the issuing county and 3 of the other neighbouring counties (Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath And North East Somerset).
