Get over yourself, dude! The real value is in feeling that way about someone else. I hope someday you can have that, but you're going to have to focus on other people first.

NO! I thought there was, because I liked this one guy from school all school year. And the first half of summer, too. I made up a little future story about him in my diary, and you don't even wanna SEE what Ive done with his picture in the yearbook (but I promise its not disgusting). The point is, I started meeting other guys who I like more, and he kinda faded. Not completely out of the picture - we're still friends, and I still kinda think he's hott - but Im not crushing anymore. These girls may not be crushing on you. They may just be telling these guys to be like you cause of the way you treat people and especially girls, or the way you act and talk, or the way youre never rude or arrogant, or the way your funny without trying to be. Get my picture?

I think there is such a thing as a forever crush. A lot of people I know still have crushes on the guy in high school they couldn't have.

Although it's great to be the role model for the perfect boyfriend, you seem to be very familiar with the phrase "I'll always have feelings for you".
That is definitely not a good thing. For one, it always comes with goodbye. For whatever reason, your relationships are aborted. According to you, this happens quite frequently.
Again, not a good thing if you care about someone.
In essence, it's better to be a lovable goof and have a girlfriend than be Mr. Perfect and alone.

there really could be if they really want to be with you. i've thought i've had a "forever" crush but i was wrong, he was a jerk. and maybe in time you'll begin to like someone that likes you back. who knows, right?

No such thing. I bet if you were their boyfriend. Sooner or later they would find something to complain about.
