Also will a 1982 22RE Celica GTS cyl head interchange with a 95 22RE pickup.What is different?

no oil ports,will back pressure head gasket and blow again.

To it plainly, no. Even a pre 1985 22RE engine head isn't interchangeable with a post-1985 22RE head. 1985 was the first year that the head design was changed on fuel injected model. If you have the '82 Celica, try the 20G head or swap the engine for a newer 22RE or 22RTE engine. The 22RTE was a turbo engine used in on various 1985-1987 Toyota trucks. This motor can be modded for not too much money. That's what I'd do.

Injector locations different intake gaskets. And I am sure you will be in for more surprizes. Lay your old head gasket over a 22re head gasket. The fuel injection truck only needs one oil hole different to ruin your day.
