My cat is super cute - I am talking so cute and irressitable that inspite of myself I find myself petting her -- She is super cute I think in the world of cats she would be a Super Model cat no doubt. I would have married her in a heart beat if she was a girl. Well my question is kissing your cat ok healthwise?? ,, what if I kiss her on her paw and a minute ago she had licked it ?

Anyone who is criticizing me for wanting to kiss my cat would not say that if they had seen my cat - she is an awesome looking cat !!!! She is super super cute...I find myself petting her all the time- she is very polite and I know sometime she gets tired and bored of me but she reluctantly let me pat her... ( if she was a girl she would have taken out multiple restraining orders against me -- no doubt about that :) ) Oh well thanks alot for the answers !!!

I kiss my kitty all the time. Although I'm not one of those people that keeps hand sanitizer with them constantly. I do avoid kissing him around the mouth, though. I'm also sure that handling cat stool during pregnancy is a no no. I suppose whether or not you should be kissing your cat is dependent on your comfort level. I will kiss my indoor but won't kiss my indoor/outdoor cat--she eats alot of rodents.

I don't think there is anything wrong with kissing a cat because actually I am a fond cat lover myself. I kiss my cats all the time regardless if they just licked the place or not. They actually says cats/dogs mouths are cleaner than humans. I have two cats of my own and my youngest just had six little kittens. I really want to keep them all but I can't because I am not even supposed to keep the two that I have. It should be fine though because I have been doing it for like 12 years and I've been fine.

I've always kissed my cats on the top of their head and haven't suffered any health problems. I don't kiss their paws, but then I wouldn't want to kiss a human's feet either.

If your cat enjoys all the affection you bestow on her, then that's all that matters.

I've been kissing my inndoor & outdoor cat's nose, eyes, face, back, paws & tail for over 10 years! and I'm (joking) very healthy so yeah! I've never got worm or any other disease from cats, even the outdoor ones.

I love my cat very much also, but only kiss on her forehead and not to often. She knows that I love her ' cause I take very good care of her, she gets groomed everyday and lots of TLC, don't overdo on the kissing thing or she might not be to happy about it, just talk to her quietly and pet gently, please control yourself, she is a pet and not your girl friend.

If you are not Pregnant it should be OK.

I feel that too for my cat. I suggest you kiss her on her forehead, that is a safer place than others.
