My Sister-in-Law converted to Muslim when she met her husband. I don't know that much about it but the important thing is that she is very happy and in love. They have a 18 month old daughter.,

African American Lutheran My mom transformed whilst I was once 8 years historic, she gave my older siblings a alternative, however whoever was once underneath 15 was once no longer. As for the final 3 questions, I'm no longer fairly definite the way to reply it. I'm no longer the finest muslim and from time to time I doubt whether or not god exists. I even cross so far as to mock the inspiration of the after existence. But I could by no means do this in entrance of my mama, it could holiday her middle. Anyway, Islam is like another faith, it has its contradictions, corrupt leaders, hypocrisy and racial anxiety. Right now although, Islam has been made the enemy by means of the western media. They do not see radicals, they see the faith and that is all responsible. People are first rate for probably the most facet, however they emerge as fanatical in the case of a faith or an ideology. I say you must learn extra and make your possess selections earlier than you're spoon fed disinformation. Male, 24.

Christianity is very divided and has many contradictions and odd statements. Like Adam and Eve had two sons, so how did they have children? It's facts like this that make you question christianity. As far as Islam goes, it is a peaceful religion that has better morals than that in the bible, in respect to alcohol and etc. However Islam does have the radicals, a lot, so if this could be overcome then i think it is likely to be better accepted.

I studied Christianity for a long time and could never find the answers I needed. When I started studying Islam, I began to find those answers. Then I met and married a wonderful Muslim man and moved to his native country with him. I was deeply immersed in his culture and religion and I was never happier. I finally found a religion that matched the ideas and beliefs I already had. I felt equality in our marriage and peace in my heart. I continuted to study Islam and after one year of constant research, questioning and analyzing, I converted in a mosque filled with men, women and children who were elated when I said my Shahada. I have not regretted my conversion for one second. I feel like I have finally found my place in this world. I am proud to be Muslim because I know what it really means and how Islam is supposed to be practiced. I am blessed to know the truth and to have a wonderful realtionship with my Creator.

I am officially christian, but not believer..And i wouldnt be converted to any religion, because personally(and i underline it)i dont feel the need to believe in something.
However,i respect all the religions, because they dont harm anyone, and they teach good things for love etc etc...
But i want to reply to Butterflie who is also a dear friend of mine...
Butterflie, do you know that all the religions(the monotheistic ones are based on one?Ours, yours, all...Thats why, if you study, the islam doesnt teach different things from the christianism..The opposite, both rreligions teach to love all creatures, to love nature, to give a part of our food and money to the poor..
I can assure you that i have defended so much the muslims also in other sites, when they are accused for bad things, and i always say that we also the christians we are not so innocent, because we used religion for our interests.
What happens in the world today, it is not due to the religion, but to politic things, reactions of people who feel oppresed...
Let s dont mixt religion which is something good and innocent with political topics...
But you, as believer, you must say God bless all people independently of religion, because we all breath under the same skyy, we all jhave rights, and we all are creatures, and human beings who want to live in peace...

i wanted to blow people up

whats with the thumbs down, why do you think most converts are those from prisons (ummm tyson, malcolm x ummm many many more). Because its the perfect religion for criminals.

Its holy book preaches violence. criminals love that sort of s**t

oh and while im about, Butterfly 2 below me, your very 1st words sum up all that is wrong with it.

you say "It's the RIGHT religion". Thats the thing about Islam, its not about peaceful co-existence with OTHER religions, where everyones own choices are respected, in Islam its all about you being "RIGHT" and all the other religions being "WRONG". Infidels etc

its pathetic and immature
