i would say it depends on the situation. some women aren't mature enough to have kids at 21 let alone 17 or 18. and also i would say 18 is fine as long as the baby is loved , taken care of and has a STABLE home. It's great that you are still with the father.

I wish I knew the answer! I am always asking this question. I'm 23 and my husband is 28 and we are thinking about when to start a family but in most people's opinions I am far too young. It seems to be more 'socially acceptable' to have a baby in your 40's now than in your 20's which I personally cannot understand due to the health risks etc. Too much pressure is put on us to do everything, ie. career/family/travel, I wonder if anyone actually manages this and is truly happy with no regrets. I would rather have my children young so I can enjoy them and they can enjoy me, rather than them having to worry about an elderly parent when they are only 20/30 themselves. As long as you are your partner are happy then screw the socially acceptable rubbish, I think a 19 yr old having a baby is much more acceptable than a 45 yr old. Not meaning to offend anyone just giving my opinion!

well it's possible for a girl to have a baby at 11 or 12

but socially, under 18 is too young

20 or above should be the socially accepted age

I reckon anything under the age of 18 is too young, I reckon the social age would be 20 or older...... if you are socially and finaniceually cappable of supporting a baby...thanks

Biologically, 9-10 year old.

Historically, 12, 16, 20, 24, and getting older because of modern day demands.

Emotionally, it depends on the parties involved.

Legally, it depends on the country you are in. 18, 21, etc.

Personally for you, you already have a baby. So you need to make the best of it.

Personally i think thats fine. As long as you're a good mother, what does it matter? Its a personal desicion. And being in a stable relationship is also a bonus. Good luck :] x

i think 14 is too young. a 15 yr old could be mature enough to handle it. but it depends on the person really. i think 19 is perfectly acceptable to be a parent.
