I weigh 155 pounds, give or take, with very little fat on me. Any information would be useful, I recently broke my nose, and I am in a lot of pain.

I'm just wondering at what amount liver damage will begin?

It is more of a hypothetical question than anything else. I have heard of the dangers of aspirin, and I never take it, I just heard ibuprofen was much more safe for younger people. I have perececet for my nose, as I had surgery on it to have it re-broken, and re-set. Each pull is 5 mg oxycodone and 325 mg aspirin, so I'm wondering how many I can take. Two does make me feel better, but not 100%

Aspirin relieves pain and inflammation, but also makes platelets less responsive. This causes you to bleed more easily. Aspirin does not effect the liver. If you take too much aspirin, you can cause ulcers in your stomach and also have a bad bleed occur anywhere including your brain. If you have internal bleeding where you broke your nose, you may be making things worse.

See a doctor for proper evaluation.

Im not sure why either. But I got them that bad too, ever since my very first period! Pain medication doesn't help - trying to sleep it off seems like the only solution But I can tell you that birth control pills pretty much make the cramps vanish. I was on B C for 3 years and when I did get cramps there were not nearly as severe. Unless your trying to get pregnant, I would look into it! You can also talk to your doctor. I've heard there might be something about an iron deficiency that can cause bad menstrual cramps, but Im not sure. Your doctor will have better advice.

1. Aspirin is not the drug of choice for this sort of injury, higher doses will lead to excess bleeding (among a lot of other bad things associated with this drug).
2. If this happened 'recently' you should not be in a lot of pain still which may mean a misdiagnosis (assuming you have seen someone) or you have a complication of the injury : septal haematoma, infection etc.
Go see someone!!
