If so then then ask yourself ..why bother?

The amount of people pouring out hatred and vitreol when attempting to deny the existence of God is not beyond belief, but is very logical.

One cannot be happy without knowing God
People who reject him to the degree that they feel the need to shout out their beliefs from the rooftops are being motivated by something a little bit deeper than that their favourite reality tv shows have finished.

Shaitan is always at work influencing believer and unbeliever alike.

To not only feel, but to publicly share such hatred towards God is evidence of this.

So if there truly was no God why would you care?

At times I find it amusing to hear the same rehashed ill founded arguments that have been handed down from the atheiss of an earlier generation. So who are so self rigthteous n their indignation towards religion never bother to check out the arguments offered by educated people with opposing view points and always fail to account for the horrors caused in the name of state sanctioned atheism in countries like the former Soviet Union, China, Vietnam etc.

Some interesting responses you have there. People who say there is a God or there isn't a God are wrong, how can anyone possibly know for sure. If God is a creation of mankind then you can see where they did it. The thought of just living your life, then simply dieing isn't exactly an exciting one is it, so that is why I think people care. The flip side of this coin involves the actual existence of God. People, like my self are edging their bets with this one. To deny a God, and find out later that there actually is one is probably not the best move you can make. I don't attend church, and I certainly can't stand all those that preach that they have found God, cause I'm betting they haven't. But if you just live your life in a decent fashion, and treat people how you expect to be treated, then surely if there is a heaven then God would let you in, would he not. Well if he (and it would be a he by the way) never then what kind of God is he then

This thread like many others seems to attract a number of people who are doing exactly what you suggest in your question.
As you say..satan has a grip on the world..he is the prince of the world but Jesus is coming back for the faithful so we should not worry. Those who have not taken the time to seek Gods face when they have been told of His existence will pay a price. They will be full of regret when they are left at satans mercy and the Christians have gone. satan will have no-one except them to tempt or to torment so what will he do. Whilst they are faithful to him in his time of princehood, satan will leave them alone and give them a relatively easy life but the 'End Times' are here and Jesus WILL BE BACK.....if people would only read and digest what the Bible actually says about what is happening NOW......they might just reach some understanding.
May the Lord Bless all those who read this and decide to seek Gods face if they do not know Him already........
Best wishes, Mike.

Because I care about the planet and the living creatures on it.

Did you know that vast amounts of the rainforest are torn down everyday? Now how much paper is there in the world being wasted on Bibles? hmm...no God, more rainforest - I care

Imagine if the total time spent by people performing religious practices was put to use? hmm...no God, more productivity (whether that be economic or charitable) - I care

Imagine if all the scientists over the centuries hadn't been silenced for blasphemy? Who knows, we might have had cures for illnesses that we don't currently have? hmm...no God, better medicine - I care

And thats before I even begin to mention the money churches have taken from people, before I mention the animals slaughtered as 'sacrifices', before I mention Jihads...

Dear Friend. Lets try the question more simply. If there was no god why would you not care ? It is natural to care and does not depend on belief in a god. Drop your belief in god for a few days then you will know why care, why bother. Can you? Will you?

Without religion there wouldn't be so many people pouring out hatred and vitreol while trying to make everyone believe in their god.

I don't care about god. I think you're missing that point. I don't care about your god or any god.

What I care about is the ignorance and the depth of idiocy of people who believe in god because it's that attitude, that blatant lack of intelligence that causes problems to occur. Please tell me you have seen atheist terrorists and atheists killing in the name of no god. Please. Go ahead. Tell me.

I already know that the concept of god is a false one. It's simply a fact __to me__. (emphasized by underline) I don't care what you say regarding the existence of your god.

But the concept of religious idiots is very real. And yes, you can say I have some hatred.

And I do know that not every [insert religion here] person is stupid. This rant isn't meant for them. But there are plenty of Fred Phelps's out there and this is for them.

If I do not believe in a god, then I cannot hate something in which I do not believe. We are talking about belief and faith here not provable fact. In my opinion and I emphasise the word 'opinion' I can find no reason to believe in a god but respect other people's right to hold religious beliefs. I also defend the right of those of us without beliefs and those with to engage in intelligent and reasonable debate about this subject. I may think that you are wrong to believe, but defend your right to be wrong - in my opinion that is. As in my opinion there is no god, then I don't care as you put it but find the debate fascinating.

The only reason I care to know is because all my life, I've been told that God exists without anyone having proven to me with tangible proof of his existence as of yet other than what's written in the Bible.

And no, I don't have hatred for anyone who chooses to believe in what they want to believe in.

As for the question itself, I don't give a tinker's dam. But as for people believing in such a thing, I care a great deal; it results in an enormous waste of society's resources, pollutes logical thinking, and inspires crap such as the 9/11 attacks.
