santo d'aime is actually a religion in brazil which translates to 'the holy give me herb'. this religion practiced mostly in the amazon uses the native herb ayahuasca to make a halucinogenic tea which they drink as a part of religious rituals. there really is no actual herb called santo daime...its the name of the religion.
