You should be able to buy the correct manual from the parts department of your local Ford dealer.
Many Focus versions come with a heated front screen, as well as the more common heater rear screen. This is why you have two buttons.
The Focus has an electrical release for the boot. On the first-generation Focus there is a triangular button for it high on the dashboard, to the outside of the instrument cluster, above the driver's outside air vent, underneath the edge of the hood over the instruments. The button only operates in certain conditions (I think it is car unlocked and ignition off, but am not sure).
I don't know if the second generation Focus has an internal button, or if it relies only on the additional button on the remote control key.

If you bought the car from a dealer (not necessarily Ford) go back and ask him to grt you one. If that doesn't work go to a Ford Main Dealer and ask him to get you a book but....if he didn't sell you the car you will have to pay. It shouldn't be too expensive and modern cars have so many bells and whistles that an owner manual is a necessity. Incidentally there is only one heated windscreen switch. From memory it is the one on the left which has an illuminated diagram like the curves of the screen; the rectangular one is for the rear screen heater. Hope you like the car...the Zetec engine is very good.
Enjoy and I hope you manage to get your manual.

Go for the 1.8 Zetec, preferably with the reflex and climate packs. That gives you disc brakes all round, traction control, multiple airbags, heated screens and air con. I had a 2001 (X) plate as above. Best car i ever had, mechanically solid and sticks to the road like s**t to a blanket. Now got the new shape 2006 1.6 VCT zetec and it's not as good :(

I have had both a 1.6 and 1.8 focus as a company car and found that the 1.8 is defiantly the one to go for. It has a more powerful engine and you will feel the difference on the open road. The old style focus is much better than the new style focus and from a reliability stand point the early new style cars seamed to be dogged with electronic problems. My 1.6 did 130,000 miles before it was traded in for the 1.8 and I had no mechanical or electrical problems. The 1.8 did about the same mileage and other than having the wing mirror replaced due to a motor problem was again fault free.

Either look for a second hand manual or just fiddle to find out what happens we have had Fords that have a lever or a button to open the boot and one that didn't
