It is a true classic from 1953 called "Forbidden Planet" and is a truly awesome work even by today's standards. In its day the special effects won an academy award and no one else was even in the same ball park! It stared an excellent cast with Walter Pidgeon as the lead. See if your local library has a copy of the DVD. It is worth the effort if you are even the slightest interested in science fiction.
( The wikipedia says it is a 1956 movie but I believe this is wrong)

I like Erin Brockovich, it was a true story about a brave, energetic heroine that fought the odds to battle injustice.
I was watching the Star Wars movies on HBO, though, and more and more, those shows are so great.
Tomorrow starting at 12:30 here, they are going to show all six of them back to back.......I have my popcorn ready, lol....
No, I'm not a nerd, I was a softball jock in High School, I just love the story line of the new movies and really hurt and rejoice.....they are very moving to me, I don't know, maybe I should join a star wars cult.....

Just watched "Ghost", and then wrote a review about it for ebay.
If you want something that compares to "titanic" as a genuine good love story, well "Ghost" ranks right up there.
