Does he have a good pdoc? Does he take his medication? How severe is his schizophrenia? When he's in episode, does he know who you are?

Schizophrenia is very difficult to manage when the patient is in episode. If you can keep him on his meds, that's most of the battle. If he takes his meds but is still symptomatic, his psychiatrist needs to know.

When I have Schizophrenia,I saw images and heard voices, and had body discomfort. I was hospitalised and I got better. I am still on medication, and doctor reminded me that I must take my medicine.I need to ignore the problems,or any problem. Then I feel better, and live better. With the help of doctors and medicine,I get better and on the road to recovery. It's just an illness, but you must manage it well yourself and with help you can be well.
