of corse that's a good idea!, lol, but you need protien like brests from poultry or something because they're the lowest on fat percentage compared to the whole body.

Don't try the "diet" you have suggested. It will work, you will lose the weight, however, you will gain it back when you start eating regularly and you may lose more muscle than you really want.

You needs meats and other food sources for protein and other vitamins/minerals that you body needs when you exercise/workout.

Instead of following a strict diet such as the one you stated above, cut your portions, drink plenty of water, and do at least 30 minutes of cardio. Stick to this and you will get the results you need.

With a good diet and exercise regime, you should lose about 2-3lbs per week. In 1 1/2 month you should lose the 10lbs.

1) YOu don't need to lose weight, really, you sound fine for your height.

2) You need to eat more than just fruits and veggies. You can get most of your vitamins and protein from certain vegetables, and fruits, but you should still have meats, and some carbs for energy.

The entire key to losing weight, and most people don't get this, is to burn more calories than you take in. I.e., a healthy diet followed by exercise.

Follow this rule of thumb:
A kings breakfast
A queens lunch
A paupers dinner.

In other words, make breakfast your biggest meal, lunch your next biggest, and have a small supper. That way, you are burning off calories from the large breakfast all day long... add a few more from lunch, burn em off before dinner. Have a very small dinner and relax.

you don't need to lose weight you are fine! but eating healthy is always good. I would concentrate on toning rather than losing. Yoga is great for that. It also helps with stress. keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat though. 20 minutes a day is fine. Also your body needs protein you won't have any energy to do any working out. But seriously you are fine do it because you want to be healthy and tone don't do it to lose weight. good luck. I used to weight 135 pounds when I met my husband and I was only 5.0." I was REALLY skinny and all I did was think how fat I was. ten years later all I want to do it get back down to 135. so don't worry so much. and be happy with who you are.

veggies are good, fruits have natural sugar that your body will store as fat if you don't have any protein in your diet. Throw some chicken and fish in there, and make sure to do cardiovascular exercise for that hour. The best diet I have ever used is simply counting calories...all you have to do is literally count your calorie intake. If your trying to lose weight quickly (who isn't) try to stay around 1500 a day. It's hard, but you'll find some things that you didn't even know were packed with calories, and a lot of them are even easy to give up. Good Luck!

Look Sweetie, You have got to be kidding me. You are perfect just like that. You are at goal weight for your height. You can get in a lot of trouble trying to diet like that. Your body needs a balance of things. You will over work yourself 1hr a day. You have to work certain parts of the body so many times a week and not all at once. Go to a health food (store) where they sell fresh fruits and veggies and they really know what to do and use. See a DR. for best answers>

no sir!! it's not good because.. well... where's the PROTEIN? you need protein to lose weight too!!!! eat some chicken breast (it's so low in calories, fat (99.5% fat free), and keeps you full). eat protein! lean meats, turkey, chicken. all that jazz. Also... run a lot. I have been walking for over an hour every day for the past few months, but I have been running an hour (no rest stops) every day for a week.... and i look soo much skinnier, fit, and healthier!
Oh and Chrishica obviously doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Evidently never went on a proper diet or lost weight.. properly, effectively and in a healthy way. Tsk tsk. Anyway, good luck!

Fruit and veggies are good for you and you should have at least 5 serving a day. But you also need protein and milk and some grains. Whole grains are best.

135 at 5'8" sounds good to me!! Maybe all you need to do is just tone up with exercise.

Your weight seems fine to me. But if you want to lose 10 lbs the best thing to do is to just eat sensibly and exercise. I mean if you want to be a vegetarian forever that is fine, but if you like meat then it isn't reasonable for you do go on a special diet, cause as soon as you go off you will gain weight back.

it won't take you long to lose 10 lbs if you do those things. probably only 2 weeks or so. But could you really discipline yourself like that for two weeks solid. Also you should include a little protein in your diet.

Don't just eat fruit and veg. It will really affect the stomach acid and give your bowels a very painful time. you still need meat and carbohydrates, just in the right portion sizes. You should speak to your doctor about it, or a nutritionist at your local health centre.
