Nope no studio.. and no im not the one who tattoo's. My brother is a Professional Tattoo Artist, who is opening his own place. Me and his girlfriend wanted to get it for him to make it a bit easier for him. We didnt bother asking him as he would have told us not to worry bout helping him out.

Are you a scratcher? If so, then no cause you shouldn't be doing it.

If you're a pro, then you would already know that dot matrix printer's are useful and shouldn't have to ask this question.

Once again bratt show her wisdom and hits this one. Will a shop do a piece of your own drawing? Most likely not. But they can take your drawing and make the needed changes to it in order to make it a lasting tattoo. As bratt pointed out there are many things you may have in your design that just wont work well for a tattoo. Some shops out there don't care and will do it just as it is when you bring it in. But there are artists out there that aren't just in it for the money but for the passion of the art form and creating lasting work. I have friends that come over showing me there new pieces and ask what I think and sometimes they are just too detailed to be a lasting piece (at least I mean detailed by line work which is not a good idea having lines too close together but I do some pretty tiny detail in many pieces but these details are created without lines and only by color). If you don't know about the art form and what is best for design of a tattoo piece you can't really come up with a custom design on your own that will work well as a tattoo. Has it been done? Sure, I have a few clients that bring pieces in that I can do for them and really don't have to make many changes if any at all. But the piece you bring can most assuredly be used as a reference to create a quality piece.

Honey you are going to need a thermal machine to run stencils thru or just trace them on carbon paper. If the design has a lot of detail sometimes it is easier to trace because you don't want heavy carbon on your stencil.

Wouldn't you think to ask this question BEFORE you bought it? Dot matrix printers are not all created equally so I guess you will find out, won'tcha?

What do they say in the studio you work out of?

No studio, right? Yeah, I thought so.
