I want to go into a forest ( To be alone) and ask God to show himself. ( If God is a woman then that's good enough for me) When God appears in front of me I will tell him to do a better job when it comes to his children. ( Wars in the world....WW One, WW two...Korean war...Vietnam....Iraq war...Etc....Crime in the world..) Can I dress God down and make "GOD" feel ashamed? All I want to do is make him do a better job.

when i think of god i dont think of it as an almighty holy person i think of it as a force that regulates life kinda like gravity n stuff...so when you pray u release energy that is positive and can attract other great positive forces( try walking in a church and tell me there is no energy lol) but yeah if god is a living being then i doubt he could control everything and one because then he could just get in everyones mind and do stuff( which i dont think he does)( i guess we use he when reffering to god because of our culture and grammar).....I dont really know exactly..but i hoped that helped.

First of all if you believe in God you should have had some religious training. Didn't you learn that anyone who actually looks on the true face of God dies. And secondly i feel you are a little arrogant to think that you could chastise the all-powerful, all-kowing Creator of everything. God does not cause these problems. He has given us (humanity) free will to live our lives according to our own hearts, and that is why there is so much discord in the world. If we were perfect beings, which we are not, then we could all live in harmony. But because we are human and all live in sin, we go our separate ways and live our selfish lives. That is why there is so much hate in the world. Perhaps if we all prayed that God change peoples hearts and minds it would be a better use of our time.

Erudite. Why do people like you continue to insult the Creator? God is a creator, an inventor. He gave human beings the choice. That choice is free will. It is man who has decided to go to war.God is not responsible for our stupidity. You don't need to see God. You can see God in every thing on this earth. His work is the beauty all around us.If god has emotions which I doubt, then perhaps the only thing he would feel sorry about, is stupid statements made by people like you. Grow Up.

Oh My...Well, I guess you may do as you like. However, I don't think that you are as quite important as you think you are. The idea itself that you can make God do anything, much less put shame in the picture is simply preposterous!

All I can say is, good luck on your journey my friend. Perhaps our paths may cross some day.

Blessed Be

You can't do that. God isn't responsible for anything going on in the world today unless he's granted a few miracles. We are responsible and only us. He gave us free will. Tell yourself to do a better job!

the book of lamentations and others are where people are often critical of God. You are welcome to lament because God seeks your heart and your soul. God wants you to communicate your joys and your fears. that is communication , that is prayer!

however, wanting him to do something about wars might cross the line of free will and turn us into robots, but it cant hurt to try.

let me know how it goes!

ps. willow, are you calling Bush God?

God gives us choices we choose the paths and thats not God's fault. If everything was good what would be the point in faith? There would be none because we would know everything would always be ok

How about you do what you can to make a change. People who make these problems and make their lifes suck, do it themselves. It's just easier to put the blame on God.
