The Romans belived in many gods. They thought that tyhey were real in every way. Then some guy woke up and thought of the idea of one god. religions come and go. The romans thought there religon was the greatest and only right one. It wasnt when Judisum and Christianity came along. Sooner or later some guy is going to wake up, have his coffie and think that a new all powerful god was talking to him. People will follow, and Judisum and Christianity will become old, lost religions like the romans and the greeks.

Im not saying to stop beliving in what you belive in but why do you force people to belive that your religion is the only one. You can beleive in it but let others belive in what they belive in. So what if they think that some of lifes questions have differnt answers. Some questions shouldnt be answered by religion , but by what happens, when it happens.

If i spelt anything wrong... i have terrible spelling. So what.

I'm Buddhist- I would never assume that my religion is the best or the only right one. In fact, I very well may be wrong. That is why I spend so much time studying other religions, so that I may gain insight from them. However, I do not think that people who believe there religion is the only one are able to offer much to me, so I tend to avoid those people (and learn about their religion on my own).

I go to morality and after studying religion I've become religiously non believing and skeptical of formal religion and still looking for a unity of morality among the different people of the world not division and fences to fight over .I serious believe that society will come to maturity someday just as we stopped appeasing the gods by throwing virgin sacrifices down volcanoes to increase our crop yield we will eventually take the good of religion and science and discard the superstition and ignorance that are such obstacles to a good life for all.

I don't believe that anyone's religion is the best. Christians are out because we change our beliefs (example of when the priests turned around after centuries and preached to the congregation, or started talking about the Bible in English, not Latin). Middle Eastern religions are out, because their religion says it's ok to kill. (Not 100% sure-I haven't read the Koran, yet...but it's what I have heard.) Anyway, I think that as long as you are moral, and do what is right (debatable topic) then you have no need to worry about what religion you are. I know some agnostic people who are more generous, kind, and helpful than anyother Christian that I know. (Pastor/Priests/ect. included!)

I don't believe that my religion is the ONLY ONE. What is right for me may not be right for someone else. And who says that the religion of the romans and the greeks are "old, lost religions"? Look again, my friend!

I will have to agree with you on a few points and must admit that I am for FREEDOM OF RELIGON. I beleive that a person should be able to worship whom ever or what ever they choose as a God. That much I will agree with.

I am not a religon scholar and dont claim to be. I am a sinner saved by grace. I put my eternal security in Jesus Christ many yrs ago.

I am of the Baptist faith, there are many things about the Baptist faith that I agree with and some I dont. I beleive Christ went to Hell. I beleive this because the Bible says he paid my sin debt. Well my punishment for sin was suppose to be an eternity in Hell. If Christ paid my debt then he went to Hell for me. He was beaten for me, he was nailed to a cross for me, he died for me and he arose for me, and he promised he would return for me. This is the basis for my salvation. When he left he commissioned his apostles to go out into the world and teach and preach and win the lost over to him.. He wants his children / followers if you will to convert as many as possible.

When you study religon you will find that most have origins in the Catholic church, Methodists, Lutheran ect. The Baptist church can be traced to John the Baptist right back to Jesus Christ himself. If you can find it there is a small book by the title of "Trail of Blood" This will give you the history of the Baptist church.

So with all that being said I am going to continue to talk about Jesus and hopfully take some people to heaven with me. For those that choose to believe great! For those that dont well My prayer for them is I hope they get saved and trust the Lord before its too late.

Thanks for the question I hope you find what your looking for

I am a Christian. Christianity is the only religion with a risen, "living" Savior. I am a Christian because I was drawn by the Holy Spirit of God and I know the change He has made in my life and the lives of others who've come to Him.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.John 2:22

Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Luke 12:4

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
God bless!!

Instead of chatting online, look into yourself for these answeres, and you will understand who you are.

It may take some time and effort, but the reason Christians love Jesus is because he responds to our prayers. Try praying to him for a while, just to test it out and see what happens.

He loves you. Trust that an enlightened being would love you, and pray to him for a sign.

Be blessed. :)

Yes, this just one of the many reasons why many people like me have become atheist. We see the bigger picture. Through out history men have invented their gods in order to explain the natural world and to ease their fears of the unknown (death).

Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father except by me."

I believe that. Should it matter to you if I do or not? The Bible records it. Jesus paid the penalty for sin. No one will ever take His place.

No one is forcing you to accept this. It challenges you that some believe it.....but even God will accept your right to make your own choice.

(If you don't take the pardon, you get to be judged by the law.)

I don't. I only believe it's the best, right, and only one for me, and no one else.
