What are some difficulties (for people who've done this) you've experienced? I'm 23, and I'm talking 10+ years older. Any advice?

some difficulties are alot of people dont accept that kind of relationship... another thing is he may just be a womanizer just looking to get another hot young mamacita under his belt... but that could be anyone... but if you have feelings for him and you believe he feels the same for you... then i say go for it and dont care what anyone else thinks... i hope this helps :)

Well people says if you love each other age doesn't matter. That's absolutely false. I used to date someone 15 years older than me and it just didn't work. I put all my energy on this relationship and at the end it was just not enough. He said he's used to the life he's having and can not change somethings. He was all done with a lot of things i wanted to do as a young woman. He has some routines and didn't change. Something as silly like the music you play at home can be a trouble. He can think your friends are so immature because they do things young people do. Now you don't see the difference but the problem is when you are getting older and you still look young and he starts looking old. Other men would turn to look at you and he would overreact. He will lose confidence about how he looks and will think you are cheating on him with every young friend you have. I didn't get to this point. But I was really close to it. The worst part is that I still love him so much but he thinks he can not live everything again. He thinks he can not have a second time for all what he have already had. It took him two years to find out this

I KNOW U THINKIN LIKE I CAN'T GIVE U ADVICE BUT I THINK I CAN.............I'M 16 N I CAN'T DATE ANYBODY WHO'S OLDER THAN ME BY 2 OR 3 YEARS ..............I CAN NOT TALK TO AN 18 OR 19 YEAR OLD I JUST WOULDN'T FEEL RIGHT..........N THEN BY ME BEING A VIRGIN MAKES IT'S EVEN HARDER TO TALK TO OLDER GUYS BECAUSE THAT'S ALL THEY WANT...............

well my mom when she was 32 she met a guy who was 45 and there now married, so if you like the person age is just a number

my lady is much younger than i am and all i can say is if you have feelings for each other then the age gap is not an issue ---- best wishes
