I always refer to this soorah in the Quraán which says:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
[109.1] Say: O unbelievers!
[109.2] I do not serve that which you serve,
[109.3] Nor do you serve Him Whom I serve:
[109.4] Nor am I going to serve that which you serve,
[109.5] Nor are you going to serve Him Whom I serve:
[109.6] You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion.
We Muslims do not abuse people from other religions because we believe in the above verses.

My opinion on abusive language: Don't use it.
My opinion on God: Allah is not the same thing. Allah is the god of the Muslim religion. Anyone who says that all gods are the same is wrong and needs to do some serious research. Heck, one specific quote from Jesus can dispel this belief in an instant: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Nobody comes to the Father, except by me." Okay, that and there's a little bit of thinking to be done. For example, Christianity teaches that Jesus and God are the same. The Holy Trinity deal.* And Islam teaches... not-the-same-thing. Islam teaches that Jesus never died on the cross, was nothing more than a prophet, and is not God, all of which contradict the Bible.
And as for prophets, here's how to tell a prophet: If he predicts something in the name of God and it don't come true, don't trust him half as far as I could throw him. And that ain't far.

Costs you nothing to be polite. Live and let live. If you are so comfortable in your belief system, theist or atheist, why do you have to resort to abusive language ?
Brett A : What sort of sad soul (Dawkins) would consider the God of the Old Testament as "the most unpleasant character in all fiction" . Is the OT the only book he has read ? Nobody worse, out of all the despicable characters, in all of fictiondom ? Tell me again how he has his thinking straight.

It's said from a very unreliable source that Jesus said "It isn't what goes into a man that defiles him it's what comes out."
Odd that not one of these Christians remembered that quote when someone asked about smoking weed.
Everyone should watch their hate level, but a few spicy words doesn't mean much today.

Allah is not the same as God in English. Allah is a false God.
God says that foul language is like the stench from an open grave.

I PREFER COMPLETE TRUTH and ACCURACY...
“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” – Richard Dawkins; The God Delusion

Your God has no power over me, cannot influence my decisions or actions, and somehow hurts you when I use the word as an insult. Stop being offended by such words and people will stop using them.
