I know I have it. I have a health/medical background. I want to talk with someone who knows more, but my insurance has terrible mental health coverage. Our budget is small. Anyone know of any good books on this? Authors? Types of exercise? I want to try to avoid meds; herbs are fine.

You probably need to do some research on this. I did a quick google search for you and I came up with this link. http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/ocd.htm
There is lots of information out there. I can picture someone with OCD being capable of really digging into the subject. Best of luck to you.

Grrr. Just to set the record straight, it probably is NOT your insurance company itself that doesn't cover Mental Health. I have a feeling your employer group made some changes prior to offering it to you.

Secondly, I do not think you can get rid of a mental condition on your own. Outreach to your local churches, health clinics..there are a lot of free programs out that can help you.

Good luck.

Go to library and read books. Then buy a few used books. If you need more help, try free online courses on Bach Flowers, Reiki etc.

Homeopathy has good solutions and may not cost you too much.

Email me if you need more help. Nothing to pay for and nothing to buy from.

Do you have Kaiser? I really wish they covered therapy. If you do have Kaiser, they do have group therapy that is surprisingly good. Just thought I'd throw that out in case you are a Kaiser member.
