I believe there are many choices we can make and still be following God's will.
I think a better way to express it would be "God has a purpose for your life" . King David made a ton of mistakes but I believe that God's purpose in him was fulfilled.
I believe that we can mess up our lives and still fulfill our purpose............

The answere is yes. God has a plan for every one of us. He created us and loves each and wants us to be happy. He wants us to have fellowship with Him. He knew us before we were born. None of us has ever followed God's plan completely for our lives. There is the problem that we all are sinners. We decide that we can follow our own plan. God knew we would do that so He sent His Son to pay the penality for our sin and bring us back to Him and He still loves us even when we go our own way. He will never leave us or forsake us. We humaans cannot understand such love but that's the way it is. The Bible says even the hairs of our head are numbered. God knows everything. God bless.

God Bless you for your question...
God knows the numbers of hairs on our heads (some of us have less than others), so does He know all the details of our lives? Yes. He also knows the plans He has made for us, from before we were in our mother's womb. I am referencing the prophet Jeremiah. So to think that He would not be involved in every single detail of our lives is not hard to imagine.
Now, the question of free will has come up. Here is what I believe. I believe that God has a plan for us--He knows what He wants us to do and be. But we, having free will, must submit our lives to Him and accept these plans. If we as believers refuse to submit to His will, we will run into hard times. He will discipline us until we come into line with His will--just as a good parent will do to an unruly child who doesn't understand that his parent only has the best in mind for the child. One only needs to read the book of Jonah to understand this lesson.
We have free will. We also have to understand that there are consequences to our choices. Non-believers who are not called to God don't understand what this means, and they have been given over to their desires. But non-believers who are called by God often react like an unruly child at this idea. They don't want to submit. If this is you...please pray for guidance and submission. I understand where you are--I was once there. You can know peace. Give up your pride, and submit to the one whose yoke is light. Let Jesus carry your guilt and sin, and live free.

I am a Christian, but I don't think God plans every single detail of our lives. if He did, then there would be no choice for us to follow him. we would be robots, I believe he plans a destination for us, but we either choose the path that leads to the destination God wants us be at, or we can seek our own path and end up at our own destination. And yes i believe he chooses when we are born, but everything else is up to us. I don't believe he chooses the time of our death, I don't think that when everyone dies that it was necessarily their time to go.

Nope.. not every detail cause they negates free will - but God knows what you will choose...
God's plan is that you know Him... a plan to benefit you not harm you (Jer 29:11)... God has a destination in mind for you, and you get to choose the journey you can make it easier on yourself by being obedient to His word (the Bible)....

Yes, God plans everything for all of His creature, and we always have a choice becuase of freedom. So if you believe in God, you will always consider His presence in everything you do and consult Him through prayer if somethings bother you or need you to decide on.

not sure which Christian to whom you are directing this question, but I'll take that as a general question thrown out into the general arena of R&S.
No. It CAN be that specific, but "The Plan" is simply this: to follow the 10 commandments*. The rest is as you will.
(*not the 10 suggestions*)

Every single step you make. He even knows what you will be doing this time next year so be happy because God is on your side.

Just to clarify, there are 613 commands in the Bible, not 10. Most Christians do not know that.
