Apperantly Issac Newton belives it'll end in 2060. The aztecs, according to their calender, will be 2012.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's the year 2007. Who honestly thinks the world will end in 5 years?
If your answer deals with religion, please explain.
(No, I have not read the bible)

PS. The bible was written by men, not God. In case you people that responded with "God" in your answers didn't know.

It's unlikely that human civilization will ever die unless the surface of the planet becomes uninhabitable for decades. Even an asteroid strike wouldn't do it, because there are many hardened underground facilities (at least here in the US) that can support people for many years.
Of course, a viral or bacterial agent might kill enough people to isolate us into extinction, or if we somehow released nano technology that mutated foodstuffs into inedibility or made soil unagarable, we'd have a problem. Same thing if we accidentally made water undrinkable. Then we'd have a real problem
The Earth will eventually be consumed by the sun, but hopefully by that time we'll have learned to escape the confines of this solar system.

According to scientists, "definitely" it won't happen for another 50 million years when the expansion of our universe collapses. As for reading any bible, you haven't missed much. I have been researching religions for over 37 years and find "nothing" within present holy words that is any more superior than lazy men who wish to live off the weak minded through a bunch of fear tactics.

God Bless you for your question.
No one knows the time and the hour of the end of time for this earth. Not even Jesus, God in the flesh, could tell us, as this was hidden from Him while He was here on earth. Now, in Heaven at the right hand of the Father, He knows.
Anyone who tells you they know the time and the date is mistaken. Jesus says that the time will come as a thief in the night, and come suddenly. He did say that there would be signs and wars and rumours of wars...The more I study the prophecies, the more it would appear as if we are living in "END TIMES"...but whether the end will come tomorrow or 5 years from now or 15 years from now, no one can say. But I strongly feel it will come in my lifetime, if not then in my children's lifetime. But who am I to know? My time table is certainly not God's, so take my estimates with a grain( or two) of salt.
Bottom Line: No one knows for sure--and if they tell you the God has revealed the time to them, don't walk--run away from them for they are up to the devil's business.
Even so, Come Lord Jesus, come...

I believe all earth creatures will be smothered in pink & blue cotton candy and the waters will run with chocolate syrup, as foretold. This will take place precisely at 12:17 p.m. on April 15th in our year of the Lord 2020.*

Will end with fire after: 1) Great mass tragedies, worldwide 2) Christainity is known of worldwide, 3) Jews worldwide, recognize Jesus as the son of God and our Savior.
First two already occurred, waiting on 3......That will probably take a while. (hopefully)

The answers to your questions are in the Holy Bible. Get yourself a New Living translation which is written in plain modern English and read it for yourself. That is the only place you will find the truth.

Nothing like people are assuming. And it's definitely not going to be in 5 years.
Those two things are certain.

It will end when you or anyone/everyone else dies. Newton's dead, ancient Aztecs are long gone, are you ready?
Don't hold your breath.
