if everything in heaven was so wonderful why would lucifer rebel? Not to mention many of the other angels. Doesn't that suggest heaven isn't so great?

No eye has seen, nor ear has heard what things God has instrore for those who are in Christ Jesus. I'd rather go to Heaven than Hell. It is much cooler and there is freedom.

The rebellion in heaven is another version of the story of our "Fall", that is, our entry into dreams that we were suddenly not who/what we actually are...our passing into (choosing to form) physicality.

Heaven is our true state of being, which we never could leave. This is our dream. But we awoke in the same instant that we "fell" into dreaming. God is not fooled, and we are as created. So beautiful/powerful/creative is mind, that we can dream, cast shadows on walls, and neither shadow nor wall exists; only God and everything God creates...only this.

I believe that Lucifer rebeled out of pride and God cast him out for that sin. Or something like that. As to Heaven--I guess we will just have to wait and see!

Thanks, Ma. What is heaven? The heaven many await, but do not know it, is the restoration of the physical creation to its original setting. Luci rebelled because the physical was given prominence...prominence over him of all things, the most beautiful of all spiritual creatures.

Heaven's not that great if you're not willing to submit to God's will. Lucifer wanted to do things his way, so heaven wasn't a great place for him.

Lucifer did not rebel against heaven he rebelled against god.

Lucifer wanted to be God. That's why he rebelled. He had free will, and his choice was to try and become God.

God doesn't force anyone to praise him, it's all people's choices. We choose to follow God because we see God's love in our lives. Why wouldn't we want to spend eternity with God, who loves us?
