and want some details about jobs, basic training, stuff like that.. ive already been to navy.com and military.com.. i want other isight besides those

about.com, while NOT an official source of information, is pretty accurate when it comes to a general description of Navy Ratings. just be aware that the ones that are Secret Squirrel(requiring a Clearance) you will get nothing but vague generalities. also try the link below. it IS an official source, and part sof it are only available to Current personnel, but there is some good information there.

If you want to know basic training is only 8 weeks , been to it 7 yrs ago. Its easy even a caveman can do it, All you gotta is just follow what they told you and kick *** and take names and you cant go wrong. Unfornately the navy dont publish much about boot camp because its really nothing you get in fit and good shape physically. Keep in shape do as your told to do it would be just fine when you finish battestations.

hello,,yo wait a minute you can join the coast guard right here in the states and have just as much action as (well almost as much)the Arab gulf.and if you are as smart as you think you are you will get tough with yourself and make it a career so you can start partying allover again when your 40.
