No,
Unity in mankind would spell the downfall of freedom. I am always going to want something different for the world than some one else. I don't want to be christian. Christians don't want to be me. One of us would have to lose our freedom to chose to be united. The world can't be united as long as we each have a free mind. True unity would make us into drones.
I do however hope for world peace although I doubt there's any chance of it ever.

we are in a position to assume some do -- religious human beings extremely we are saying. religious human beings in spite of the fact that, anybody on the initiating and later lower back agency a seek nonetheless they might not fancy it a conscious agency. Is there even a hazard to seek for out all religions and therewith agency to seek for the meaning in all? I would desire to think of the project may be a project geared up for a god -- nonetheless i'm able to as conveniently fancy a god does not complication the project, having vastly greater pastimes to undergo. Theologians would choose for to embark upon a comparative learn of the various: yet can we on the initiating not have would desire to recognize what those sort of comprise until eventually now we are in a position to seek for the meanings? 'No. 'not quite. i won't think of there is anybody course that doesn't in some valuable nook of itself demonstrate a hologram of all different paths, and that one shouldn't choose got down to seek interior each: I carry that this element, 'meaning' -- itself -- if intends to place across meaning, bears the better economic device. A soul's ability and degree isn't any diverse a ability and analyzing than the habit wherein a sea acts midst the pull of gravity -- it seeks its very own point; does not undertake to attain heights properly out of its attain. Likewise are those paths that a guy has yet to conceive. So very many would on the initiating fancy their paths to be the 'one' and in basic terms course and could physique all others under the rubrics of theirs. Such would desire to be pronounced is a required dogmatism, a would desire to, a required antagonism to gasoline the searches alongside. How else would desire to individual who bears the annoyances of a recommendations then come to that think approximately which he later realizes there continues to be yet another and yet another and yet another, say, course? We improve. 'That' is -- if not until eventually now, then now -- the only course. A soul isn't forevermore consigned to be the seeker -- yet in basic terms for the on a similar time as. There comes a think approximately which he not seeks yet has stumbled on. what's the only authentic course however the path alongside which a Soul now saunters and at present proceeds?

We are One. It is proven with science. The heart emits a field that is holographic in nature. For each of us, this energetic field extends beyond our physical body, for a few feet at least. Whenever we are close to another human being, our fields co-mingle. Exchange information. Are felt, by those who are sensitive.
Hologram by nature means that in any one tiny bit (of your field, of mine), is the entire picture of the all.
So, the microcosm/macrocosm exists.
When there are enough people who are more interested in finding our common ground, rather than inflaming our "differences", then there will be a hundredth monkey effect, and our unity will become undeniable, celebrated and cherished.
It is coming. Soon....!!!
Peace

Excuse me for expressing this way . . . But...Who the heck would not be hoping for unity of mankind ? I don't quite understand the mindset for purpose of asking this question. I'm Spiritual...attached to no " religion "...am generally patient, open minded . . . yet...this question stuns me. Would anyone with a straight face express a " no " reply ? Who would not desire for all persons to be of one heart...peaceful united mind thought...united understanding of authentic love . . .

Other people got there first but I will still say it.
The unity of mankind, and of the very ground upon which mankind walks, is already there.
It's a question of realising it.

It's not the unity I hope for.(it's already there) My hope is for mankind to wake up to it.
-----Jaicee: Yes, Sister! Separateness within the Unity. The Individual in relation to the Whole.

Yes, unity in diversity, where all, from whatever walk of life, are respected and supported in their independent investigation of reality. Where all prejudices, where the underlying causes of war like injustice and inequality of all kinds deriving from injustice (I don't mean uniformity) have been vanquished and relegated to history's rubbish heap.
Beautifully said, Sunman. We are sleeping a strange sleep. We lack the political will to realize the infrastructure to support the reality.
The barriers to galvanizing the political will to realize this unity is our refusal to understand that there is one god called by different names and understood differently by different people -- even of the same religious persuasion -- that humanity is one race the human race, and that religion is progressively revealed through various universal educators throughout history.
What harm is there in this? Who will lose anything? If nothing else, it will ensure the survival of all and save us from sectarian hatred that threatens to engulf us all.

Yes...I lean more towards Tolerance and Understanding rather than Unity, but I guess the terms can be interchanged.
MAN I hope to see that day!!!
