I have known this guy over a year and he is 18 and I'm 20. I really like him and I try to deny it because of one the 2 year age gap and two he is going away to school 4 hours away the end of summer. I know the feelings are mutual just because it is obvious by the way he acts. Everyone can see it and Ive had someone say if its because of the age thing, thats stupid because it is about maturity. But what about him leaving? What do you guys think I should do?

Nothing is wrong with the age factor. I'm a year and a half younger than my boyfriend. He was born in 86 and I in 88. Thing is, that if he's moving away then you may have to settle for a long distance relationship. Can't guarantee it works though.

im sorry that is NOT a true age gap --- its a normal age difference between 2 people --- there are many long term relationships with age gaps of many times that --- and as you are both over 18 then there is no problem if you care for each other --- even the distance is not a problem ---- have fun

18 and 20 is not a big enough difference to really matter.

Have fun with him over the summer and don't worry about him going away to school in the fall...You are 18 so don't miss out.

that's not a problem at all. your both of age...so it's cool. i don't know about the leaving part. i know i forgot about everyone when i got to college. I'm not trying to scare you but its true. it's a whole new world in front you and you want to experience it and have fun. so if you both can handle a long distance relationship then make sure you both learn how to communicate. that's very important.
