According to Sylvia Browne on the Montel show the answer to your question would be yes. My father too passed away and there are some occurances that I would have to say were him watching over me. Like when something really special in my life happens the song we used to sing together will come on the radio, I believe he visits me in my dreams as we talk in my dreams, have you ever seen something out of the corner of your eye and nothing is there? I think that may be him. Look for specical signs too - birds at your window, bells ringing a lot, butterflies following you. These are all things that show he is there and sending you love. God bless you, honey, the hurt will get more bearable in a few years. It will never go away completely but you do learn to cope with it a little better as time goes on.

My uncle who was very young, and I was very close to died from pancreatitis! He died in December 2004. I feel his presence every so often. The week after he died, some strange things happened, like this chair fell over, and this puzzle I left out on the table at night was solved in the morning. I know he's watching me. I'm sure you father is too. Just listen to your heart.

yes sweet heart..your dad is watching over you and you can be sure that he is being well taken care of. it is hard when you loose someone especialy if your realy close to them and you wanted much more of a relationship with him..just know when you graduate from something or have kids or just whatever happens in your life he will be there to see you go thru it..and he is right there in your heart..they leave us body wise not spirit wise..his spirit is connected to your heart..that is where you can find him..you are already half of your dad just because you were born..you will see things you do in life are how your dad would have done them or you might say things your father would always say...he will always be with you, you can be sure of that! i hope this is the answer you were looking for!

Yes. Not only is he watching over you, but he is guiding you to do your very best every day of your life. He is one of your guardian angels. All people that love you and have crossed over, wish only the best for you, and more, and better than they had. People that are living and love you always wish the best for you, and more. Why would that change where ever they are?? Always, always remember this. God Bless You.

i really beleive it all depends on your own beliefs. if you believe he is watching over you, then he probably is. no one knows for sure what happens when we die. we can only assume and stick to it and call it our belief. Personally, i always believed the idea of someone watching over me. it always reassured me that something good was bound to happen soon. i think your father is still watching over you today. He has touched you so deeply, that he has left an impression that runs deep and therefore he will always be with you and always helping you. You will never be fully alone and you will always have someone whose proud of you.

Katie it all depends on what you believe. My dad died a little over a year ago. But I believe that he is watching over my family and I, and he will always be in our hearts which in my mind means that he will always be close to me. I am sorry for your loss.

Of course he's watching over you sweetie. My father died about 5 years ago and I know he's watching over me making sure nothing bad happens to me. I know how it feels to lose a close parent and if you ever need someone to talk to and relate to I'm here for you.
Sorry about your loss. I will be praying for you.

I do believe that your dad is watching out for you - in his own special way.
Don't know if you like country music or not - but there is a song that I think is called "Holes in the Floor of Heaven". This is a truely wonderful song. Please listen to it at least once and see what you think.
