If you modified a honda civic Si and a Nissan sentra spec v the Nissan would blow away the honda. When it comes performance mods it is easier to find mods for a Honda but Nissan spec v has parts that are easy to find. Nissans are a very strong company when it comes to performance. The reason why Honda has such a powerful name is mostly because many, many people add performance mods to Hondas. I would choose the spec v. they are fast stock so imagine if you add turbo and other mods in the car. You will smoke any Honda and you will be able to compete with the Acura RSX type s.
