I hate cheese. Just the smell of any cheese makes me gag. I won't even eat something with a little cheese in it like pasta sauce. It causes me problems when I eat out because restaurants assume everyone loves cheese. I'll order a burger and it will have cheese all over the sides of it because the cooks use the same spatula for cheeseburgers and burgers...it's just so gross. Anyone else have a similar thing with cheese or any other food? I'm the same way with Butter.

Man, I never thought I would find someone who felt the same way I felt about cheese. The difference is I eat it on my pizza Lunchables and that's it. When I order a pizza, I peel all the cheese off and make sure the toppings I put back on it don't have any cheese on them. I hate macaroni. I just don't see how people can just eat a blob of cheese and it smells really bad. I hate being around people when they heat it up in the microwave too. You ain't even ready for this one. The worst thing I ever smelled was Parmesan cheese sprinkled over some macaroni. Now that was just unbearable! Now butter, I can eat that with quite a few things but, I hate the smell of it when it's heated. Even though I can tolerate cheese and butter to an extent, I know exactly how you feel. By the way, that was a very good question.

Wow!! Me too!!
I'm not quite that bad with the cheese, but I hate it!! I can tolerate mozzerola cheese and every once in a while pepper jack. But generally, cheese is the most dicusting food ever made, except for butter. I agree with you on butter, I think it is really gross!! It's solid grease!! and has weird texture. I do like the flavor of butter though.
And I love vinegar, garlic, and especially onions. I don't know why, but I can almost eat an onion like a normal person can eat an apple. And I can pretty much drink vinegar. It's a little sour but I can do it. I also love mustard. (maybe crave is a better word). I like to eat it by the spoonful!!

I've been told that the whole thing with not liking fatty foods has to do with a lack of lipase in you GI system. Lipase is the enzyme which the body needs to brake down fats in your body. I'm not sure about whether it would cause such a dislike of those foods. That would make sense, but I don't know for sure if it works that way. I've been looking into this for a while now, and I've learned that when people steer away from the fats they tend to lean toward strong flavors. Well, that would certainly explain the oinion, garlic, and vinegar.
I've also, learned that craving strong flavors like garlic, mustard, onion, etc.. can be caused by a diet lacking in salt. taking 1/4 tsp of sea salt every morning and evening helped me. Don't use table salt, it needs to be either "Real salt" or "sea salt". This is because table salthas many things (like iodine) in it which are bad for you. (Iodine is harmful to you thyriod)

I recomend you read "The Enzyme Cure" by Lita Lee. Its very interesting. A lot of information... Some sounds a little weird, but a lot of it makes sense.

I don't hate cheese but I am not a huge fan of it and a lot of times it doesn't agree with me. My husband on the other hand, loves cheese... he will sit and eat sliced cheese forever if he could. I have troubles eatting cheese slices, I find they are gross, although I will eat grilled cheese sandwhiches...go figure. I can't stand soft cheeses either, they make me want to gag... so I can only eat the harder cheeses like Mozz, cheddar opposed to something like Havarti or Gooda (or however you spell it).

My suggestion would be tell the restaurants when you order to make sure there is no cheese on your burger even if you have to say you're lactose intollerant or something to stress the point of not having it on there. That is the best thing I can suggest. Good luck.

I used to be the same way. I never ate cheese untill I was 19. I tried pepperjack on a hamburger. I was hooked! I have learned that there are so many different flavors of cheese that yo really just have to try some to find what you like. I hate chedder, american, and swiss, but I love pepperjack and feta.. just try a new cheese!

Nope. I love cheese but not the ones with the blue things in it, and also not the ones that smell like ear wax. Cheese goes very well with Tomato and onion. Cheese taste also very good with red wine. I love butter too. But all those give you lots of fat.

I'm not a big fan of cheese. I cant eat only cheese. It grosses me out. I have to eat it with crackers or on a sandwich, and even on sandwiches i pull any cheese hanging off of it OFF! But its ok i guess. I once saw old cheese though, now that was digusting!!!!!

I don't like cheese, butter, ghee or oil. I like mustard, vinegar, onion, garlic and some other spices but I can't have any in a large quantity.
