Rather than a skirt, why not a kilt? Kilts are for men.

Check these folks out: http://www.runningkilts.com/

Another good option would be the Utilikilt Spartan Model, it is designed for running, and workouts: http://www.utilikilts.com/index.php?page_id=46

And if you don't already know about BodyGlide, let me strongly recommend it to you. (http://www.bodyglide.com/skin/skin.html) It is especially needful if you are kilted. BodyGlide prevents chafing of the thighs, and can be used on feet as well. I'd sooner go out naked than without BodyGlide.

If you really want!

Though I would recommend looking into the specialist running clothing designed for males as it should fit you better and thus feel more comfortable (and provide more support to vital ares)

If you wear a running skirt, you'll be a laughingstock of everyone you know.. wear short track shorts if anything..

Track shorts are light and easy to run in and you maintain some dignity

Go right ahead. People will look at you oddly, but don't mind them.
