i am 12 and eat evey thing there is in sight i dont like purge or anything i just eat and eat and i just sort of started doing this at the beging of the summer and its not just like a little snaking like today i ate eight donuts and im not fat i was on the fence of being helthy weigh and to skinny when i went to the doctors but im not physically fit so what is the problom

You're 12, so you are probably going through a growth spurt. If you are hungry when you're eating, that is. At your age, it's perfectly normal to go through stages where you eat a lot, just roll with it and it will calm down, you'll probably be another inch taller in a matter of months.

HOWEVER, if you are eating because you are upset, or if you don't know why you are eating but you feel that you must, you may suffer from a EDNOS, in the binging category. Do a little research and see which one it is. Best thing to do - DON"T PANIC!

I don't think you have an eating disorder, it sounds like you may just be bored and eat because you feel you need something to do.

But because you are young your metabolism burns off most of what you eat, this is why you don't get fat. However, just because you are not fat does not mean you are physically fit. Even if you are naturally thin, you still need to get 30 minutes of exercise at LEAST 3 times a day to be and stay in good health.

that is called binge eating disorder
symptoms:
-feel out of control when eating
-eat unusually large amounts of food
-eat very fast
-eat until they feel uncomfortable
-eat a lot, even when they arent hungry
-feel embarrassed about the amount of food they eat, so eat alone
-feel disgusted, depressed, or guilty about overeating
talk to your family, friends, school nurse, social worker - the sooner you look for help the better.
