No. I don't think you should have to give these things up totally after all these things are part of what has made you grow up and become the person you are now and the person they fell in love with. When you love someone you love all of them even there friends. But wait now if these things are interfering in bettering your life then that's a different story you and your partner need to sit down and talk about this issue and come to some understanding; and your partner needs to understand that they cannot be in a relationship hoping to change the person there with. Also remember relationships go both ways you must give in order to receive. Best of luck in your relationship and in life.

If you have to sacrifice so much to be in a relationship, it is the wrong one for you. You should still have your independence, your personal space, friends and a job or career while in any relationship to make it rounded and fulfilled. If anyone expects someone to give this up, you best move on quickly.

Uh huh...it's not a sacrifice if your relationship is worth it. I think you'll find that, in time, living ONLY for yourself will turn your life into a shallow one, devoid of meaning. Now there are times when you have to be selfish, like finishing school, moving somewhere, ect. But if you never compromise, well, you'll figure out the rest.

Based from experience, you should keep an adequate love for yourself. You will be greatly hurt if you have given much and the person you love simply ignores the sacrifice. Keep the love for your family and friends, they are always there to listen to your problems and will lift you up on your failures.

You can sacrifice all that for a relationship, but not to the extreme. I mean really, if a relationship makes u sacrifice everything then maybe its not a good relationship...it shouldnt be so demanding,

You should not have to sacrifice much of anything. Your relationship should just blend into the rest of your life. If you think you are sacrificing too much, leave now. It will just get worse.

Never do that!
In order to have love, you must have life. Without a life, there is nothing left to love.
And eventually, the relationship may buckle. And what would you have left? Nothing.
You would have to rebuild everything. A task that would be nearly impossible.

No person should sacrifice so much that they lose themself in the relationship. You have to remain who you are, not who someone else wants you to be.
